Road America will host round 7 of the Rolex GRAND-AM Sports Car Series. The 4.048-mile, 14-turn track configuration includes long straights, swooping turns, high braking, and flat out straightaway speed. The layout is considered to be a perfect example of a true road course and consequently has neverbeen altered.
APR Motorsport and the Audi R8 GRAND-AM are up for the challenge. After a minor setback at Mid-Ohio, the team will focus on the improvements that placed them fourth in qualifying in Detroit. The race car has plenty of potential and power that will suit the Road Americatrack well.
